Driving alone (Reader x SPN)She drove as fast as she could, a pack of werewolves had been spotted in Minnesota...and the fact that the attacks were patterned and didn't follow the lunar cycle meant they were pure-bloods. On her passenger seat? A stack of books (all lore, of course) and some maps. The back seat? Littered with fast food wrappers circling a green duffle bag, which was filled with all the silver (Y/n) could carry.
Her cellphone started ringing, she opened the glove compartment and shuffled her hand around the multiple cellphones she had until she found the one that was ringing: it was Ellen.
"Where the hell are ya?! I should kick your ass, (Y/n). I told you to call me when you finished in Indiana!" she said. (Y/n) clicked speakerphone to focus on the road.
"I know, Ellen. I'm sorry."
"Sorry isn't gonna cut it this time, young lady. You think I'd let Jo be as reckless as you?" Ellen sounded more worried than she usually was.

[SPN] One Moment of SunThe Bunker was quiet, aside from the light brushing of the pages being turned and the clicking sound of buttons being pressed on a keyboard. Sam was reading yet another book, his laptop open and set next to him, trying to figure out the meaning of a few passages that Kevin had translated from the Demon Tablet. Honestly, there was a part of him who didn’t enjoy seeing the younger man bent over the heavenly stone all day, lost in a world he shouldn’t even know about and that had cost him already so much. However, Kevin seemed to have taken the translation as some sort of mission, accepting his role as a Prophet much more at heart than he had while they had been fighting the Leviathans. Something had obviously changed for him during the period he had spent as Crowley’s captive and at times the younger hunter had a hard time recognising the kid he and Dean had met at the mental hospital almost two years before.
